Well - actually, the part of this I would place money on is that Harry will offer his life to save Snape's. I'm morally certain of that; it is where all the themes of the books are tending, I believe. But that doesn't mean Rowling couldn't come up with a way for Harry to survive. *I* just can't see one, and I'd be really annoyed, at this stage, by (1) meaningless or painless sacrifices and (2) reset buttons. If Rowling avoids these, allows Harry to live, and still ensures the necessary sacrifice/reconciliation takes place, I'll be thrilled. Which brings me to part two of my prediction. I think you already know that I think Severus will be stripped of his magical powers, at least temporarily. I think, if he survives, the same will happen to Harry. And this will not necessarily be a punishment! For Severus, at least, I think the loss of his magic will allow for a wholeness in his life, and a healing, that hasn't been possible in the wizarding world. The same may be true of Harry.

So those are my wild theories. Thanks for commenting!
