Do Yo Mama jokes exist in Austria, though?

Haha, no, I actually really don't think so. Feels very Afro-American to me. It isn't even conceivable to me why I or anyone should resent the ex-flirts, lovers or spouses of my/their parents and the only reason for me to resent anyone actively hitting on them right now would be if I perceived it as a threat to their marriage. Good taste is no crime, and I fail to see any connection between finding someone attractive and calling someone a whore. One is an insult, one a compliment, no matter if the person has reproduced or not, no? Though, of course, you'd get especially angry if someone insulted your mother rudely. That's no mystery to me.

Similarly, when people brought up the "It's universal law not to date your best mate's sister" argument against H/G, I couldn't follow whatsoever. Siblings and friends are a great way to meet! The question is, is there a status quo in immidiate danger by the new romantic development or not. I can't see romance in itself as a a form of disrespect to the woman and her relatives. I guess Austria could be less sex-negative than other cultures in that respect... So someone ask the English!

So while I don't know why the fact that Snape loved Lily makes Harry so incredibly happy and why he thinks that Voldemort and the world really need to understand this fact, I see no reason on earth why it should make him unhappy, except maybe sympathy for poor suffering Sev.
