Adding to my previous message: Vanquishing Voldemort and living are not stisfying enough goals. Anyone can be a bigger badass than the previous badass. Vanquishing Voldemort while maintaining enough moral integrity and living would have convinced me. Harry of the last 2 books fails and never recovers from his failure on page, in fact, he isn't even aware of it (in part because of how Dumbledore keeps giving unearned praise to the purity of Harry's heart). His conversation with Ron in the epilogue reinforces this failure. I have no reason to hope that during the next inevitable crisis, Harry as chief Auror would do a better job than Crouch Sr as head of DMLE in the first war.
