Yes, thanks! I agree with every word of this. By the end of DH (actually, by the end of HBP), I also had absolutely no sympathy with Harry. Of *course* he is better than Voldemort, who isn't even human, imho, but it is very disturbing that he really never grows, becomes a better or kinder person. Nor does he learn from his mistakes. He is simply the chosen one, and that is all there is to it. How boring!
