The Establishment Clause is one of the most fundemental provisions of our Constitution. Many of our early Pilgrims came to America to escape the Church of England. Now we seem to have the start of a Church of the United States. The Republicans screamed "We are all Catholics Now!" No! We're not all Catholics. We're not even all Christians. Like you said, we're all individuals with our right to believe as we desire. Individual religious rights should always prevail over the rights of the church. Excellant Post!
