Oh, my heavens! Midi-Chloridians, or whatever the heck they're called! I actually liked the Force better without the so-called scientific explanation, I must say.

But I do see your point, and about publishers, too. Genres are really marketing tools, aren't they? And I think there is a perception that SF doesn't sell, whereas fantasy does.
