Artwork by Sigune!

I am so excited - I am going to get an original watercolor by the marvellous Sigune, and it's an illustration for my WIP! She sent me a scan, and I'm hoping she won't mind if I post it here. Please do NOT borrow or use this art without getting express permission from Sigune and from me! She retains copyright, as far as I'm concerned. But isn't it great?!

This is a scene from the middle of my short children' s novel-in-progress, A Drive of DragonsThis draft isn't finished yet, but I'll be happy to share it with you when it is, just to get an objective view. Deirdre thinks this story, unlike Honor, doesn't need any editing! I'm not sure she's right, but it's nice she thinks so. :)

From the picture, it looks fascinating! Happy Snape's birthday, by the way - I've been trying to write a Snape story to post on my journal, as (in my calendar) his daughters will now be at Hogwarts, but it just doesn't seem to be working. Eventually I gave up and watched a documentary on medieval manuscripts belonging to kings of England, only to find that the presenter is someone I used to teach - a bizarre experience!
