Neat that you also thought of Gran Prince as Margaret! And you're right about her similarities to her grandson; that was exactly what I was trying to express. She is, indeed, a tough old bird.

Actually, I'm feeling a bit alone in the fandom now: I don't absolutely hate all aspects of DH as much as Sigune, for example, but I cannot rejoice at Severus's story as my sister did (she sees him as a redeemed figure and hero, just as Rowling wrote him, and she found the love story between him and Lily touching. I didn't, because, as written, I couldn't believe Lily ever even liked him much, and because Severus never seemed to fully transcend/sublimate that early love. It seemed to me that Rowling was TRYING to make him an emotional cripple - and far more crippled, at that, than I had imagined.) As someone else said, the ending of DH left me feeling flat, empty and depressed - just blah. At first, I couldn't even weep for Severus; his death seemed so utterly cruel and pointless.
