Whether or not to post at hp_essays, I'd say it depends on how low or high your troll tolerance level is. Although, maybe I just rubbed some folks the wrong way. I guess you can never underestimate the potential for folks to misunderstand your true intentions. But you could easily post it to spoil_me_dh as that crowd seems to agree that Jo struck out.
And, yes, I do like your fanfic angle better than Jo's effort. I always presumed that DD's "favor" that caused perfect trust between the two gentlemen was that DD was hiding Irma Pince, Snape's "undercover Mom" at Hogwarts. Not....
