And I forgot previously: Jesus was the chosen one, too. Only Jesus could be Jesus, so I don't see the contradiction. Only Harry can be Harry because of circumstances, but everyone could hypothetically be a Harry-like figure as well. No Jesus like figure will ever again have the power to save all the souls of the dead etc, nor can you turn water into wine just because you're a good guy.
