An interesting discuccion (about Snape, of course):

I sometimes look in on the whysnape fansite, and a fan called Sionna Raven had some fascinatiing things to say about Snape's true role and nature. As some of you know, I've pointed out that the colors of the Prince family crest are red and gold; Sionna gave the family motto, which is "miseris succerere". She translates this as "to help the unfortunate". This motto fits in very well with the protector/healer pattern I've noted in Snape. But the whole discussion is very interesting.
