A Poem: Good Friday (for the people of Gaza)

That woman who fell,

Cut down

Clutching the flag

Of the land she loved--

She fell like a flower,

Cut down like the grass.

Remember her.

Remember,

The grass dies.

It will rise again.

She will rise again.
