I don't think Rowling has thought much of this through at all. She'd likely be horrified if someone asked her in an interview just *why* Severus Snape is so close in looks and personality to the late Victorian stereotype of a dirty, greedy Jew. She doesn't strike me as the self-reflective type at all.
