A meme from Sigune-

Sigune tagged me - it's taken me awhile to get to it, but here goes! The rules are:
A. List seven habits/quirks/facts about yourself.
B. Tag seven people to do the same.
C. Do not tag the person who tagged you or say that you tag "whoever wants to do it."
I am, of course, ignoring "C"! Do this if you want to, but not otherwise. I am tagging deirdrej, a_s_arthur, Maria, Teresa, jongibbs, puckling, and litlover12. Sorry that I haven't yet learned to do pretty links! My answers are after the cut:
1. I am inclined to burst into song in moving vehicles. There's a story about my sister and me; it seems, when we were four, a family friend picked us up from nursery school. One of us looked out one window, and the other out the other. Both of us were singing - different songs, in different keys. We just kept singing our own tunes. This lady says, "then I knew they were geniuses!" I'd say she was very tolerant of children's noise!
2. I'm a twin (fact).
3. I am (in) famous in my family for not being able to pass a book, cereal box, etc., without picking it up and reading it. I get teased about this sometimes.
4. When I was a kid, I naturally taught myself phonics, as many good readers do. (It helped that our parents had a charming and clever set of phonics readers.) I then went through a period (at the age of 8 or 9) when I insisted on pronouncing words the way they were written - pretty disastrous in English!
5. I fell in love with Dickens at the age of 10, after seeing Mark Lester and Jack Wild in Oliver Twist.
6. I had a crush on Mark Lester at that age. Later, I fell for Leonard Nimoy in the reruns of Star Trek, and also David McCallum in reruns of The Man from Uncle. I, and millions of other kids, both older and younger than me! Isn't it interesting that the producers of these shows wanted to get rid of both Spock and Ilya?
7. I'm quite distractable, and hate being bored - so I rebelled, for a long time, at the idea of a routine (for writing, for example). But, as an adult, I've found I am much happier and more productive when I do set up a routine, and try to do the same thing at the same time every day.
Oh - as a child, I used to be an excellent speller. I'm pretty good, but not excellent, as an adult. For example, I think I misspelled "distractable".
A lot more I could say, but I'll leave it for now! Have fun if you decide to do this.
