A little bit more, from slightly later in the story:

“Why would my brother talk about armies? He tried to tell me not to ride out to find you, because you were in no danger. Said I mustn’t strain myself, and young people have to make their own mistakes. But then, of course,” and the king glanced at Silver, “he insisted there were no dragons.”

“Is he a scholar? I thought you said he was your tutor,” Verity chimed in.

I missed it before probably, so wanted to ask: is writing a hobby or are you planning to publish this book? Liked the excerpt and wanted to ask where will be possible to read the entire story.

I am hoping to publish it when it's finished, but that will take awhile! In the meantime, I'm trying to sell my first novel. Will keep you posted - I really hope I can publish both of them. And I'm glad you're interested in reading more!
