[Poll #1960395]I promise, I'll stop playing with polls now! And I really do appreciate everyone's feedback - especially those of you who haven't read the book. Thanks very much to all of you.
Thanks! So do I! And, from a brief search on Amazon, it has the virtue of being unique. "Honor" - though it makes great sense to me once you've read the book - feels a little shopworn in comparison.
Yes, I think that that is what I'm not so keen on about 'Honor' (apart from the American spelling ;-) ) - it's a bit too generic. 'A Sword Against the Gods' sounds much more individual.
Well, as you know, I have read that book, and I love it. But this title is awesome, for all the reasons Teri Testing gave when she suggested it. It does a LOT in a few words -- wonderful!!
(I still like "Honor"or "Longsword." But I think the book is about more than just Honor … this title skirts very close to the essence.)
Thanks! You're right both about this title and Honor. They both sum up the book really well, but this does a far better job of being intriguing, IMHO. Which is what you want from a title. :)

(Well, OK, -- Honor does, too. But anyway…)
I like it!
