Yes, it is. And fix your sound system! This interview is too good to miss. IMHO; Megan Whalen Turner has a wonderfully dry sense of humor and is highly thoughtful and ethical about her writing. There are more popular authors I could name (but won't) who could take a lesson from her.

Really? That would drive me batty, I think. You've really had no sound at all on your computer for over 6 months?

Maybe you could just download the podcast to iTunes or straight to an mp3 player? That ought to bypass whatever hardware problems you are having?

I thought you said you came from upstate NY? Since I come, originally, from north of here, I don't consider Westchester upstate!

It hasn't been easy, no. I'll just remember to come back to this when I've got it working finally. Or, if the interview is short enough, I'll try listening to it on another computer. (How long is it exactly, anyway?)

Wow, I don't even remember when I mentioned that. Slightly upstate; I often throw the term around loosely to denote "north of New York city."
